What is DRIFTSTATE ?

Welcome to Driftstate- the Destination for Custom Printed T-Shirts. We do t-shirt printing in Edinburgh.

Driftstate brand is looking for a designer to work with them permanant basis. Working in the creative team you will be responsible for executing the look and feel of the brand across all brand touch points. You will be a good communicator and ideally have experience working on marketing for a brand.You will be used to adhering to guidelines and will have the chance to be involved in implementing a major branding project. Candidates must have experience.

The brief

Driftstate rebrand! We are looking for a logo that epitomises our new-direction as at shirt franchise and our vision as an innovative but highly professional organisation. We have the following requirements for the new logo;

• It should be square or a cube similar to the designs shown on this page.

• It should combine a sense of sophistication and professionalism with innovation and creativity; we are not looking for just another corporate-style logo!

• The word ‘Dirftstate’ must be included in the logo design.

• The logo should also be suitable for small-scale digital icons; this could be through the inclusion of a symbol or simple image to accompany the text, or through the separate logo of the initials ‘DS’ in a similar style to the full logo.

• The text should be clear and legible against a variety of backgrounds, including colour images and should be visible even at a small scale.

• The logo should be able to work with a number of different colour schemes

• You are allowed to submit as many logo designs as you would like. If you wish to provide a number of ideas we can then recommend one to develop in time for the deadline.
